Information we collect

• Your name, email address, phone number, and business name.
• Website or social media links, industry, business stage, requested services, challenges, goals, budget, timing, payment and care preferences, and any other information you choose to submit.
• Related enquiry, quotation, project, and service correspondence and records, including payment amounts you provide and agreement documents supplied during a project.
• Hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security or delivery logs to operate their services.

Information is mainly collected directly from you. Fields marked * are required to submit the online enquiry; optional fields can be left blank. You may contact Jaco by phone or email instead. Without sufficient contact or project details, we may be unable to respond or prepare a useful quote. Please do not submit passwords, ID numbers, payment-card details, or sensitive personal information.

How and why we use information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, discuss requirements, prepare quotes, arrange requested consultations, deliver agreed services and support, manage project communications and payments, keep relevant business records, and address security or technical problems.

Processing is limited to the relevant purpose, including steps you request before a contract, performing an agreed service, applicable legal obligations, legitimate business purposes where permitted, or consent where required. We do not use this form to make automated decisions about you or subscribe you to marketing.

Communications and marketing choices

Jaco may reply using the contact details you provide, including email, phone, or WhatsApp, about your enquiry, requested consultation, quote, or project. These service communications are separate from marketing.

The website currently has no marketing mailing-list sign-up. If promotional communications are introduced, the relevant choice and consent process will be provided where required. You can ask to stop marketing or withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting Jaco; this does not prevent necessary communications about an active service or affect earlier lawful processing.

Third-party services and sharing

The enquiry form uses FormSubmit to attempt email delivery of your submission to Jaco084476@gmail.com, using Google’s email service. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, or on ChatGPT Sites when viewed through the review website. When the private project log is enabled on this website, enquiries and project records are also stored in Cloudflare D1. Supporting files are kept in private Cloudflare R2 storage and accessed through an authenticated admin service. The two authorised administrator accounts can review and manage these records. These providers process information as needed to host, secure, transmit, or store the website and its communications.

We may disclose relevant information where required by law or needed to manage an agreed service. We do not sell enquiry details. Providers may operate systems outside South Africa; any transfer must be handled with the safeguards applicable to that processing.

FormSubmit privacy information ↗. Links to WhatsApp, Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, or other external sites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Sharing actions send the page link to your chosen service.

Cookies, analytics, and technical data

The website uses first-party aggregate analytics to count page views and enquiry-link clicks, grouped by day, public page, broad referral category (such as Google or direct), and screen-size category. It does not store analytics cookies, visitor identifiers, full referrer URLs, or form contents in the analytics table. It counts activity, not unique people. Recognised administrator accounts and browser Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signals are excluded. Hosting and external services may process technical logs or cookies under their own policies. IP-derived short-lived hashes are used separately to limit excessive requests; these are not used as analytics visitor identifiers. Browser settings let you manage cookies and privacy signals.

Aggregate activity counts are kept for up to 365 days, with older counts removed during subsequent activity processing. No advertising pixels are installed. If additional analytics or advertising tools are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before use.

Keeping information and protecting it

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, agreed services, related records, resolving disputes, or applicable legal obligations. When no longer needed, it should be deleted or anonymised; provider backups and retention processes may affect when all copies are removed.

Reasonable care is taken to limit access and protect information used for enquiries and projects. No website, email service, or internet transmission can guarantee complete security. If a security compromise occurs, it will be addressed and notifications made where required by applicable law.

Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable requirements and lawful exceptions, you may request access to information held about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction where appropriate, object to relevant processing, or withdraw consent where processing depends on it. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Deletion may be limited where records must be kept for a lawful purpose.
