What do I need to get started?
Your business name, services, contact details, and any logo or photos you have. Examples of websites you like are useful too.
Will my website work on a phone?
Yes. The layout is designed to adapt to phone, tablet, and desktop screens.
How much does a website cost?
The quote depends on the number of pages, content, and features. Share your idea and budget so the scope can be agreed first.
How do payments work?
Work begins after the scope and quote are accepted, the required content is supplied, and the 40% deposit is paid. The remaining 60% is payable when the agreed website is completed and ready for handover.
What about a domain and hosting?
Domain registration and hosting are discussed separately so you know where your website will live and what ongoing costs apply.
How long does it take to build a website?
A typical small business website takes approximately 7–14 working days after receiving your deposit and required content. Your project timeline is confirmed in the quote. Delayed content or feedback may change that timeline.
Do I need my own photos and written content?
Please supply your business details, service descriptions, contact information, and any logo or photos you want included. Let Jaco know before work begins if you need help preparing these.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. Share your current website link and the changes you want. Jaco can review the design and discuss what can be improved.
Can customers contact me through my website?
Your site can include clickable phone, email, and WhatsApp links, as well as an enquiry form. This form sends your request to Jaco through FormSubmit.
Can I sell products on my website?
Tell Jaco how you want to take orders and payments. Online shops, payment processing, and delivery features need to be scoped separately before a quote is agreed.
Will my website appear on Google?
Basic page titles and descriptions can help search engines understand your website. Google indexing and search rankings are not guaranteed, and ongoing SEO can be discussed separately.
Is sending a request a confirmed order?
No. Your request starts a conversation. The scope, price, timeline, and any payment terms must be agreed before work begins.
Who owns my website and accounts?
Once the agreed project price has been paid in full, you receive your completed website files and can move them to another hosting provider. Your domain and hosting accounts are registered in your name, keeping you in control. Third-party images, fonts, and tools remain subject to their own licences.
Are hosting and ongoing updates included?
Domain registration, hosting charges, and paid third-party services are separate unless your quote includes them. There is no compulsory monthly maintenance package. Future content changes, extra pages, and new features can be quoted separately. Online shops, payment systems, and custom functionality are also scoped separately.
How many revisions are included?
Your quote includes two rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. Please send each round as one combined list. Additional pages, features, or changes to the original brief are quoted separately.
Can I request changes later?
Yes. Any future updates and ongoing support can be scoped and quoted separately.
